Responsibilities:
* Management of projects from conception through design, installation and start-up. * Troubleshooting and providing solutions to various facility infrastructure issues. * Design and installation of compressed air, cooling tower and chille water systems. * Estimating projects for developing funding requests * Management of a corporate water treatment program * Development of a corporate infrastructure critical spares program * Management of outside consultants and contractors as required * Keep precise records of details of previous projects in an easily accessible format, and know where said information is located. * Have an attention to detail in order to analyze data and think creatively and innovatively while understanding what can realistically be accomplished under set conditions. * Work under tight deadlines in order to get projects completed. * Handle multiple tasks at the same time. * Do everything necessary to correctly complete assignments on time, especially under pressure. * Figure out how to tackle projects with limited scope of direction on assignments. * Be able to adapt to changing conditions or requirements in the middle of an assignment while providing the most excellent final product. * Accomplish projects and goals that may never have been done before by using creativity, innovation, and knowledge of the engineering and plastic manufacturing fields.
Qualifications:
Requirements * Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. BSEE may be considered * 8-10 years Project Engineering experience in a manufacturing plant environment. * Knowledge of blow molding equipment and blow molding operations a plus. * Knowledge of plastic resins and resin handling equipment a plus * Knowledge of plant apparatus and utility equipment used in the blow molding manufacturing process. * Minimum of 4 years experience in developing project proposals * Experience in determining how to reduce manufacturing costs and improve overall manufacturing efficiency specifically as it relates to facilities and utility maintenance. * Able to work with minimum supervision and direction. * Should have effective communication skills, both written and oral. * Willingness to travel up to 75%
